Winemaker Comment

This wine shows a fantastic yellow pale colour. On the nose, aromas made of a mix between sweet citric fruits such as tangerine and grapefruit combine perfectly with nice almond notes slightly toasted. The aromatic spectrum ends with citric flowers. On the palate the wine is very fresh and authentic, the touch of barrel aging is so mild that it is difficult to perceive.

Vintage Note

The heat summation for this season at the Casablanca Valley was slightly higher than the previous vintage, but lower than the historical average values. Good temperatures during January and February contributed to a quick ripeness of the white grapes varieties and the lack of extremely high temperatures helped the fruit to retain, to a great extent, natural aromas.

Fermentation and Aging

The concept of this wine is to present itself as innovative proposal with a wine fermented with natural yeasts. These yeasts have a very good understanding with french oak barrels, in order to convert the must in a delicious blend. For this reason, it was not necessary the use of malolactic process. Fermentation temperature started with 12º Celsius increasing until 14º Celsius, this process was done in stainless steel tanks. Finally the wine was aged during ten months in French oak barrels.
